|| SAVE THE DATE || I feel very honoured to have been invited by Tim English to exhibit at @figtreegalleries with him in June. Tim also asked @arcoirisinteriors so we've all been getting together and organising the best exhibition for you ever! Due to my stupid hand injury it's been a bit of a challenge to paint (mostly with my non dominant hand) but nothing will stop me. So I've been creating some pretty cool mosaics and collages. I have a huge blank canvas staring at me every day and I'm just itching to paint on it. I'll be giving it a go next month and hopefully finish it in time. However I will be finishing a couple of commissions prior to that so I better get cracking! Nothing like leaving it to the last minute, but this time it was out of my control. . . . Thanks to an awesome professional photographer who managed to capture all the textures of my original paintings, you are now able to purchase prints! Not just prints though. These are hand embellished in gold acrylic to make each one unique, and are limited edition too. Each little gold dot and the gold bits in her hair and tail were painted by me this morning with my left hand (that's why I'm going so slow!) while my right hand is slowly recovering from injury. Printed with the best inks on high quality canvas by @framed.in.cooee they look and feel like the real thing. I now have a few on my website for you to choose from so go take a peak! Preparing everything ready to paint is about all I can manage until my hand injury has healed. I purchased this old surfboard from a local in Yeppoon especially for this and will have something amazing on the front for my upcoming exhibition @figtreegalleries. Can you guess what I'll be painting?

|| NEW LISTING || I have a brand new website and have only uploaded one original painting so far (because it's my favourite and also cause it's taken me ALL day to get the website ready to publish!) so please go take a look 🫶 This one was created from a vision I had of painting lots of mini paintings for my solo exhibition (last year @figtreegalleries) and then painting a painting of all the mini paintings. Does that make sense?! Well, all the minis sold on opening night but I still have in my home this lovely painting of all the minis...and she's available to purchase on my website! || SOLD || My head is still spinning after finding out ALL my mini mermaids sold out at @grammarartshow opening night! I am forever grateful to you all 🫶 I have so many ideas for mermaids so you'll see more coming, but not for a little bit. My hand injury is getting better but I have commissions to do first, plus I have 2 exhibitions coming up. Oh my goodness, I feel so fortunate to be able to bring joy to people through my art, but also incredibly lucky to do what I love. I'd love to hear from you if you purchased 'She's Can Talk Underwater'. I always like to know the story!

I finally put this little one up on my website! 'Morning Dip' acrylic on canvas 30 x 30cm framed in oak She's not a mermaid but she's pretty close! This was painted from a photo I took on Cooee Bay Beach (where I live). I wonder if she will ever see this painting... she just looked so relaxed and peaceful.

This is why I love what I do! 'Smokin Hot' was created especially for this exhibition. I wanted her to be a strong fearless and fun sassy mermaid. She knows how to have a good time. I think she turned out just how I wanted her to. And thank you to @grammarartshow for inviting me to participate in your amazing annual exhibition. I can't believe all my mini mermaids sold out on opening night!
