FIVE FT ONE

I had previously worked with the café’s owner, Zara, on her entire brand identity, so when she asked me to design a mural for the interior wall of her café, she simply gave a photo of a door that she liked and said, ‘Just do your own thing!’

She gave me the nod for my chosen colour scheme (including a pop of pink from her logo and aqua from her coffee machine and cups), then she was happy for the design to take on its own form as I painted.

Zara put a lot of trust in me to create something suitable and she was delighted with the result.

The mural was perfect for its position in the café, right near the coffee machine, and the fun patterns give the customers something different to look at every time they come in to buy a coffee.
