Learn how to paint an animal using gouache with artist Mandy Dollery. Create your very own piece to take home with you!

This is a fun and interactive class with all materials supplied. You don’t have to be able to draw or paint for this class, it’s a great way for you to create your own pieces of artwork! The Space is a wonderful space to learn, practice and experiment, while meeting like-minded people.

The workshop will focus on developing skills, applying techniques and equipment you need to paint your own.

This workshop is appropriate for both total beginners and those with some experience. The workshop will start with a demonstration allowing you to become familiar with gouache, how to sketch up your animal and some handy brush techniques to achieve a great result. You’ll then be guided through as you create your own animal. Bring along a photo of an animal you wish to paint or select one of my prints in The Space to copy or use as a reference (check them all out on our website before you arrive if you like, there’s over 40 animals to choose from!) and I’ll be there to help you all the way!

We will have a super yummy GRAZING BOX supplied by FIVE FT ONE CAFE to munch on throughout the class too!
